#5 Naisen Dress Free Pattern

This openwork crochet lace pattern actually looks a bit like a hairpin lace. But it worked for regular crochet stitches. A peacock-inspired motif put together in an original way. Back piece
The back piece is knitted transversely from the left side seam to the right side seam (see knitting direction in the pattern).

Cast on 38 (40) 40 (42) sts on gray, work 2 rows garter st and add 1×10 sts to hem at the end of second row.

Change to beige and start embossing in stripes from 1st layer of grid, repeating interval A (= 1 st) throughout layer and add to the end of layer, 1×6 sts at the top of dress. ) 4×10 sts and to the left edge (= top of dress) every 2nd row another 3×6 sts and 1×63 (66) 68 (69) sts. Knit layers 6–38 of the grid pattern and then repeat layers 39–42 until there are a total of 25 (28) 30 (33) gray stripes in the work.

Now work layers 43-74 of the diagram and then repeat layers 75-78. When piece measures 35 (39) 43 (47) gray stripes, cast off 1×63 (66) 68 (69) sts and 4×6 sts on right side, hem every other row and at the same time left side, at the top of dress every other row. remaining 38 (40) 40 (42) sts after 2 rows in gray.
