#2 Knit Like Pouch Free Bag Crochet Pattern

#3 Mermaid Games Clutch Free Bag Crochet Pattern
I love handbags! I love video games! So I designed a bag that can be a cute tote bag OR an adorable carrying case for your Nintendo Switch!
This bag has a front lace panel that uses an easy 2-row repeat combined with a simple hdc lining. The hdc lining creates a bit of extra padding if you use it as a switch box, and it also gives the bag a bit more structure.
For this pattern, I used 4 medium weight acrylic yarn for strength and washability. I specifically used Red Heart Super Saver in Polo Stripes and Soft white colourways, and Big Twist Value Yarn in Lilac and Damson Purple colourways.
#4 Simple Drawstring Free Bag Crochet Pattern
I don’t know what it is about bags that make them so fun to design. Maybe it’s the fact that they are not limited by shape, color, size … there is a lot of freedom in that!
This bag is a very simple pattern; It is crocheted in a single color and stripes are added last using a surface crochet technique. Macrame cord is a classic braid, decorated with pretty wooden beads (optional). It’s the perfect size to carry your basics or a small yarn project!

#6 Jasmine Purse Free Bag Crochet Pattern
Fun and pretty quick crochet pattern of a cute bag. The crochet pattern involves a jasmine stitch that makes the pattern interesting so you don’t fall asleep in the second row, but easy enough to complete while watching a movie.
The bag is crocheted with t-shirt yarn and makes it fast enough for an evening project.

#7 Summer Retro Tote Free Bag Crochet Pattern
Summer retro styling meets functionality and versatility in this fun crochet hexagonal tote bag. I used an easy hexagonal pattern and added a bit of visual interest by adding a pop of color, to create the main part of the bag. Basic crochet stitches were then used to form the solid and sturdy bottom and strap of the bag. This hexagonal crochet pattern will be a fun challenge for advanced beginners and will keep seasoned crocheters from losing interest. Use your bag as a crochet project bag, beach bag or everyday tote bag; customize it to suit your taste by playing with color or adding tassels, pompoms, and more.
Lana: I used Lily Sugar n ‘Cream cotton yarn for my bag.

Thread: 300 g Scheepjes catona. I used 3 balls of 50 g each of the main color and there was some yarn left over for the squares. You can buy 3 balls of 50 g each, in mixed colors if you don’t have any yarn left over there.
