#2 Motif Lace Bikini Free Crochet Pattern

The beauty of creating your own bikini is that you can choose the exact color, design and shape to fit your body. You can unleash your creativity by adding beads, tassels, fringes and flowers, the possibilities are endless! When it comes to bikini season, you want your beach or pool style to stand out. You will enjoy making this beautiful and delicate lace bralette match with the bottoms. The flirty bralet has a medium lace veil and is accentuated by scallop edges. Matching lace Brazilian bottoms have very little coverage, meaning they are very cheeky. Feel beautiful with this beautiful set!

Inspired by the beautiful colored flower embroidery of the Valery Aria thong from Journelle, I decided to make my own use of natural lace weight silk camel yarn and 1mm steel hook. I used two strands attached to this fine thread.
Note: This is not a complete pattern, but rather a description of the pattern with general instructions.
The thong consists of octagonal motifs joined together to make a strip. I made two strips: one for the front and one for the back.
The crotch is made by joining the thread to one of the pecks of the motifs, and working on double crochet stitches. The crotch decreases to the bottom and then increases to make the back. Then I made simple scallops (ch 3, sc on the same st, 2 dc on the same st, sk 2 sts, sc on the next st) along the edges of the crotch.
